The Artist: Yvonne Stowell
Yvonne’s passion is the exploration of texture and colour with natural fibres – creating art that provides warmth and enriches life. Thirty-three years of west coast living influence Yvonne’s hand spun yarns, carpets, containers and garments, reflecting her love of the outdoor richness that surrounds her rainforest home. Yvonne's private studio in a 28' yurt is open to the public, providing opportunities to observe the spinning, weaving, dyeing of fibres.
